Jennifer Garner Joins The Limit's Virtual Dance Cardio Classes "Every Morning" In Quarantine

On Saturdays, the classes are donation-based to raise money for Color of Change, Grassroots Law Project, and Save the Children.

Doing the same workout routine every day can lead to monotony, especially when you're exercising within your own four walls. Actress Jennifer Garner has discovered a way to add some excitement to her daily fitness regimen during quarantine. In one of her Instagram posts, she revealed that she's been consistently attending a virtual dance cardio class taught by Beth Nicely, aptly named 'The Limit.' Garner jokingly referred to Nicely as a "sweet psycho" due to the challenging yet rewarding nature of her classes.

Garner's recent Zoom screenshot from one of these sessions gives evidence of her dedication. She mentioned that their sessions mainly involve High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). This shows how Garner has been keeping not just active but also motivated throughout the lockdown period.

Having lost her position as a performer and instructor at Body By Simone due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Broadway dancer and certified trainer Beth Nicely founded The Limit. This series of classes is based on the principle that there are no boundaries to one's physical and mental capacity, hence its name. Nicely, also known by her moniker "Death by Beth," possesses exceptional motivational skills that she transfers to her students during her classes. These hour-long sessions are available via Zoom every weekday. Dance cardio workouts are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays at 8 a.m. ET, while cardio toning exercises take place on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. ET, Thursdays at 8 a.m. ET, and Fridays at 2 p.m. ET. Each class costs $20.
The majority of classes involve only bodyweight exercises, but occasionally 2- to 3-pound dumbbells or wrist weights are used in arm workouts. Even without any equipment, participants can look forward to engaging, rigorous routines guaranteed to make them sweat.
Every session at The Limit typically begins with a warm-up, followed by 15 minutes of high-intensity dance cardio that doesn't let up. The choreography is repeated in each class, making it easy for all participants—regardless of their dancing abilities—to master the steps after a few tries.

Not solely is Jennifer Garner a fan of The Limit classes, but the star of "Younger," Sutton Foster, also regularly partakes in these virtual exercise sessions. On her recent Instagram post, Foster claimed that being trained by @bethjnicely has been a life-changing experience for her. Dancing, according to Foster, is more than just an activity; it brings joy, elevates her mood, and lends a sense of belonging and home.

Foster's commitment to The Limit can be observed every Sunday at 10 a.m. ET during her private workout sessions with Nicely via Instagram Live. An intriguing aspect of these sessions is that Foster pledges to give the equivalent amount of the calories she burns during these workouts (approximately $400 per week) to The Actors Fund. This organization extends its support to artists and backstage workers in the arts and entertainment industry.

What makes these sessions even more engaging is the occasional appearances made by Foster's 3-year-old daughter, Emily. These cameos add an element of enjoyment to the workouts, making them worth sticking around till the end.

Just like Foster, if you're a fitness enthusiast with a charitable outlook, The Limit provides a platform for donation-based dance classes every Saturday at 10 a.m. ET. These classes aid in fundraising for organizations including Color of Change, Grassroots Law Project, and Save the Children. So far, over $20,000 has been generously donated to these three organizations through The Limit. An interesting side note - Garner is also known to participate in these Saturday dance classes, as she mentioned on her Instagram. "P.S. I take breaks, I don't remember steps, but it is still the hardest yet most joyful workout of my week," she posted.

"Please dance it out with us," Garner continued in her post. "I promise you will hate me and love me for inviting you!"
