Katy Perry News: Singer Goes to Therapy

How the celeb stays sane in the music industry, her favorite cheat food, and more

Internationally acclaimed singer, Katy Perry recently unveiled her secret to maintaining equilibrium amidst her high pressure career in an interview with radio host Elvis Duran. Her go-to strategy? Therapy sessions. Responding to the curiosity about how she retains 'normalcy' despite her celebrity status, Katy revealed, "I have a lot of tools. I can go to therapy, I don't get excessive on the substance. I've kind of learned that dance ... it's difficult in this industry. You're holding on for dear life and you feel like you're riding a rocket, and now I'm kind of not holding on for dear life. I've learned how to ride it, and I'm surfing and feeling good!" It is evident that she has mastered the art of balancing her personal and professional life. Katy joins the list of celebrities like Lena Dunham, Demi Lovato, and Emma Stone, who haven't shied away from discussing their mental health struggles. They courageously share their experiences with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, thereby creating awareness and providing comfort to people dealing with similar issues.
